Barbara Jean Neilson, age 91 was born in Clay County, West Virginia and went to. be
with the Lord on January 27, 2018 after a short illness. She was born in Clay County West Virginia and moved to Charleston WV in her teen years and graduated from Charleston High School. She moved to Melbourne Florida in her 20s and became a
resident of Orlando, Florida 30 years ago.
She is survived by her daughter Daphne Neilson from Orlando; granddaughter Peyton Neilson of Orlando, nieces Nancy Carter of Charleston, West Virginia, Sandra Brandenburger of Denver, Colorado; great niece Kristy Campbell from Virginia and great great nephews Michael and Nick Campbell all of Charleston, West Virginia, great nieces Jennifer and Angela Brandendburger and great-great nephew Logan Brandendburger also from Denver, Colorado and her
great great niece Brooke Campbell, great-great-great niece Addilynn Campbell also of Charleston, West Virginia. She was preceded in
death by her husband John Neilson.
She was a long member of First Baptist Church Orlando where
she attended regularly. Her hobbies were shopping and her church activities. She
also love basketball and was a faithful Orlando Magic fan. Barbara was a faithful christian and spent her whole life loving
the Lord and giving to others. She spent most of her time and especially her last few weeks
with her devoted and loyal friend who was a fellow Christian Delrene Newman who
cared for her and was her angel on earth.
Viewing will be Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 1230 pm at
Dobbs Funeral Home followed by the graveside service at Winter Garden Cemetery officiated by Pastor Bob Myers. Barbara was a beautiful person both inside and
out and was loved by her church, family, and friends very much. She
constantly gave to her church and any members that needed her help as she
spent her life giving and helping her family.
She truly was the epitome of living a Christian
life and now is home in heaven with her Lord and Savior. Barbara will be truly missed by everyone who loved her. A special thanks to Gentry Park Assisted Care Facility who made her last days comfortable and we'll taken care of
along with hospice.

I would like to offer my condolences for your loss. I hope you will find comfort in knowing that Jehovah, the God of all comfort, will soon eliminate all grief and provide permanent consolation when “all those in the memorial tombs will hear [Christ’s] voice and come out”! (John 5:28, 29) God promises that “he will do away with death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces.” (Isa. 25:8) Then, instead of having to “weep with those who weep,” all earth’s inhabitants will “rejoice with those who rejoice.”?—Rom. 12:15.
It seems so unfair that death should have the power to take away someone you love; and when it happens , the thought of never again being able to talk to, laugh with, or hold your love one can be most difficult to bear. That pain is not necessarily erased by being told that your love one is up in heaven. The bible, holds a out a much different hope. At Job 14:14,15, it says that the God of comfort Jehovah, yearns to bring back those who are in his memory and to see them alive on earth. I really hope this thought brings family and friends comfort.
